Yes!!! A Homemade Solar Panel does reduce your electric bill!!

I started building my first homemade solar panel to save my electric bill when I noticed that my energy expenses where souring. In 2005 I spend $2,100 a year on my electric bill (slightly over the $1,900 that the average family spends a year on their electric bill). In 2007 this increased to $2700. Sounds familiar? This was going out of hand. So I asked myself how I could save electric bill?  I requested a solar installation company to make me an offer for professionally installed solar panels. I was astonished when they gave me a quote of over $26,000 for a basic solar installation on my home. Where solar panels only for those that already have the money, I asked myself? .

 

I didn´t have the high electric billfunds for a professional contractor to install solar panels and the pay- back time was far too long. Even if I would have been granted the federal support (of up to 50% for installing a PV systemreview box animatedon your roof in the form of tax credits and rebates, reduced permit fees, or cash back system, which depends on the state in which you live) it was still far too expensive for us. I started looking on the internet if there where alternatives or used installations to be bought.

I´m OK on the mechanical stuff, but I feel less comfortable with the electrical part of a homemade solar panel installation. And that is where I really benefited from the instructions in the manual. The manuals that I reviewed after I followed the step-by-step instructions of the Earth4Energy guide, are quite comparable (though some scored even better on specific aspects like customer service, supporting videos or additional value offers). But all guides on how to build a homemade solar panel will eventually help you save your electric bill.

However, the Earth4Energy guide is the best because of its high quality and very clear instructions how to build a homemade solar panel. It was pure beginners luck that I bought the Earth4Energy manual first!  But it worked!! In the end I did save 80% on my electric bill.
